Boundstone Nursey, Children and Family centre wanted to provide children who went to the centre an opportunity to grow their own fruit, herbs and vegetable by purchasing a polycarbonate greenhouse. This would allow children to try new fruit and vegetables.
Added benefits include encouraging the children to problem solve, boost their literacy and numeracy. It also helps teach healthy eating/living. Gardening with in Schools is known to make children feel happy and become resilient and confident.
