A grant has been awarded to Lancing Bowls Club.
The club falls without side the Big Local area, but as the only venue in the area that provides this club, we are delighted to be able to support it.
The grant will be used to provide equipment to increase the opportunity for all people to play lawn bowls. Corner steps, Bowls lifters, Rubber Ferrules and Rink Steps will be purchased.
This will give new and existing members the benefit of ongoing exercise rather than staying at home, sometimes alone with support, will greatly enhance their mental health and social well being.
The club run weekly ‘have a go’ sessions and would welcome anyone to have a go.
