In Spring of 2015, Sompting Big Local purchased a minibus (Billy) for use by community groups, clubs and organisations in Sompting. To keep costs down for these groups, organisations outside of Sompting can use the minibus if it is available. Priority is given to Sompting Groups.
3 years later, Billy was replace by a larger minibus (Rory), sitting 16 passengers. Rory has a automatic step, bridging the gap between the first step and the ground, as well as handrail.
We only ask for a contribution to cover running costs of the minibus. Due to demand, we usually ask for at least 2 weeks notice for booking and no booking is confirmed until you receive notification from us.
Billy was donated to Sustainable Sussex.
